Well, it’s not exactly a pasture, but Lincoln Center’s newest green space, officially titled the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Lawn, is attracting plenty of visitors—including the title stars of War Horse! The horse puppets Joey and Topthorn and their human puppeteers joined young dancers from the School of American Ballet to cut the ribbon on this new city oasis. The sloping, grassy space is located just outside Lincoln Center Theater, making it all the more appropriate for Broadway’s equine stars to christen it (though not literally!) Take a look, then meet Joey and Topthorn at a performance of of War Horse.
